PAX 2 will create a faint weed smell, but only for a few moments until the vapor dissipates. To keep odors minimal, vape at lower temperatures. PAX 2 delivers around 20 hits per fully loaded chamber. Your hit count may vary somewhat depending on what temperature you are on and how large your hits are. Higher temperatures and bigger draws mean fewer hits, lower temps and smaller sips mean more. PAX 2 and PAX 3 offer much of the same features, though the latter is stronger and faster with more heat settings and mobile app compatibility. One of the number one PAX 2 problems we're asked about is removing the screen. It fits in their a little too snugly. Just take a needle (or something just as thin) and poke it into one of the holes on the side of the screen. Then prop the screen up and remove.

In my opinion, the only thing I would improve on the PAX-1 would be *the way the oven roasts the herb only on one side*— and you have to open it, stir it before it roasts the rest that’s close to the battery. You can also shut off the PAX 2 in between hits and right after your session is over to stop the oven from heating herb. For those who haven’t tried using a vaporizer before definitely take a look at the PAX 2 and give it a go. If you do weed a lot, for medical reasons or even just occasionally, the PAX2 is the must have device in the portable category. My friend who hadn’t used a vaporizer before, was so impressed with it, he is going to buy himself a PAX 2! The original had just 1 hour of battery life but it also only took 1 hour to fully recharge. I personally charge all my vapes after every session or two under normal circumstances, so I kind of valued the short charge time of the original more than the longer life of the new one. However, this is really personal preference, 2-3 hours is really not an extremely long charge time, it’s pretty average.
