Simple primary/secondary operation by way of a single guitar cable makes setup a breeze. Using the Boss Katana with a GA-FC and Expression pedal really opens up access to a variety of tones and effects from the amp. Other built in features that you can access through Tone Studio are also very useful. The noise gate is fantastic for taming the high gain tones. Lots of modeling amps have this feature, but it is more of an “Off or On” situation. The Katana has a fully customizable noise gate, so it isn’t just made for heavy sounds.
